• AIRPORT PICK-UP & IN-PROCESSING

The time has come for your new maid's arrival in Singapore. Rest assured Worthy Workers will take care of the whole process for you. The maid will be met at the airport and promptly sent for the requisite medical examination. She will be registered with the relevant authorities and her work permit will commence.This will take a few days and the maid will remain in our care during this period.

• ORIENTATION

During this time the maid will also receive additional training to better prepare her for working life in a Singapore household. She will receive tips on cooking and spoken English. Finally the maid will also be acquainted with the standard code of discipline that will give her a clear idea of the basic "do"s and "don't"s. We will then send the maid to your home.

• DUTIES

Upon her arrival in your household. It would be best to brief the maid on her duties and work schedule and acquaint her with your household and lifestyle. This should inlude the proper operatation of your appliances and care of your household items. It would also b useful to touch on issues such as safety and security.

• WAGES & LEAVE

It would also be helpful to discuss any matters related to wages and leave and clarify any questions the maid may have regarding these issues. Typically, Filipino maids are entitled to 1 day off per month while there is no such requirement for Indonesian maids. In most cases home leave is granted every two years and the airfare is provided by the employer. A waiver of the maid levy is usually vailable during this period.

• MEDICAL CHECK-UPS

All maids are required by law to undergo a medical check-up every six-months. A notification will be sent to the employer.
